A campaigning Coventry mum is pushing for a change in the law to help save women’s lives. Zoe Dronfield knows only too well the horror of domestic abuse.

She was stalked by her ex boyfriend and serial offender Jason Smith in 2014. Despite numerous calls to the police, Smith went on to attack Zoe in her home with a meat cleaver – something she is convinced would not have happened had he been on a register for his previous offences.

Now the mum of two is battling to change the law which would see serial stalkers and abusers included on the same register as sex offenders, reports the Mirror. It will be put before MP’s later this month and the mum of two said she will ‘not stop’ until the government and police listen.
