Domestic abuse is set to rise in Kent this Christmas as the cost of living squeeze puts victims at greater risk says campaign to end abuse. The End Domestic Abuse campaign launched this week with the support of Kent County Council (KCC).

A statement from KCC says: “The scheme, which provides a range of resources to help victims to understand and speak out about the issue, is being led by the Kent and Medway Integrated Domestic Abuse Services partnership. The campaign comes at a vital time, as the cost-of-living crisis and upcoming Christmas period pose an escalation of risk for those experiencing domestic abuse.”
