Adomestic abuse survivor has told of her three years of terror at the hands of her violent ex. Louise Martin still suffers from nightmares after vicious Mark McIntosh, 51, battered and bit her – leaving her permanently disfigured.
The 45-year-old, from Edinburgh, told how she was afraid to leave her abuser, and concealed the truth behind her brutal injuries, because he isolated her from family and friends. Louise bravely shared her story days after the Scottish Government announced a new initiative for women trapped by violent partners with up to £1000 to help them escape.
