A woman says her ‘charming and funny’ boyfriend turned after four months and started becoming jealous and violent. Rebecca Griffiths, 33, met her ex-boyfriend Dean Hennessy, 58, in December, 2020.
But just months later he launched a campaign of cruel physical and mental abuse, which saw the mum from Bridgend strangled, humiliated, threatened and permanently scarred. Despite the traumatic ordeal, Rebecca has decided to bravely speak out in the hope her story will help survivors and victims of domestic abuse feel less alone, and to empower others to reach out for help.
