Juno Women’s Aid, Nottingham’s leading organisation combating domestic abuse, has advanced its £3m initiative to purchase properties for housing survivors.

Currently, offers have been made on nine houses with several more under consideration, aiming to secure a total of 18 homes by summer.

These accommodations will provide a fresh start for women and their children seeking refuge from abusive environments.

The progress comes after the charity secured funding totalling £3,075,000 from Social and Sustainable Capital, a provider of financing for charities and social enterprises.
